Sydney, Australia was home to the 2011 World Time Attack Challenge which hosted the Tectaloy International Drift Challenge at Eastern Creek. The event saw a turnout of international drivers, including SEIBON sponsored driver 'Mad' Mike Whiddett in the MADBUL Team Need for Speed/Redbull Mazda RX-7. Mad Mike's RX-7 has recently gone through a complete rebuild and redesign, featuring body panels by SEIBON Carbon and a newly built 4-rotor rotary engine.
Mike brought the recently-completed MADBUL RX-7 to the 2011 Tectaloy International Drift Challenge to shake down the car, and despite a number of mechanical gremlins throughout the weekend, managed to compete and take home a Top-8 finish at the event.
