After a small break from Formula Drift, A’PEXi is back and ready to get down to business with a new driver, Patrick Mordaunt, and a revamped Lexus SC430 for the 2012 race season.
In revamping the SC for the new drift season, A’PEXi partnered up with Seibon Carbon to shed some serious weight off of the SC430. For the maximum in performance and weight-loss, the SC will be running dry-carbon doors, hood, trunk, and wing. Additional exterior components include a FRP Full Aero Kit, also produced by Seibon Carbon.
Other performance upgrades consist of components from NOS, NGK, ClutchMasters, Web Cam, and A’PEXi’s damper SPL. (drift spec), modified spindle (front), and SPL. roll bar. Check out the complete spec sheet below. And no, Yokohama is not a typo. This year Yokohama has made its big return to Formula Drift in A’PEXi’s SC430.
The new Formula Drift season is off to a good start with Pat qualifying at 23rd against fifty-six competitors at Round 1 in Long Beach. We wish the best of luck to Pat Mordaunt and the A’PEXi team on the rest of the Formula Drift season!
