After two successful race seasons, Seibon Carbon driver Micehele Abbate revamps her competition Scion FRS for the 2016 race season. When we say it went through a revamp, we mean a complete revamp! From the way it looks to what’s under the hood.
The most obvious change is the livery. Last year’s livery featured a military green wrap and the U.S. flag on the roof. This year’s livery, designed by Reklaw Design, is louder and more aggressive to match the race car’s new power plant!
As avid supporters of all those that serve this country, the FRS carries the infrared flag on its roof as a tribute and reminder of support to all those deployed overseas defending our country.
During the revamp, the FRS gained some extra weight on the front-end. To help shed some weight, the FRS is running a Seibon Carbon dry carbon DV-style hood. The hood’s ventilation system serves as an added bonus to an extremely lightweight hood!
Under the hood, Edelbrock’s SCCA approved E-Force Supercharger System. This system will helping add more power and defend Michele’s championship title in the SCCA US Majors Tour.
