SEIBON Carbon is proud to announce its latest sponsorship for the 2012 race season. SATS Motorsport Drift Team, from the UK, and their Toyota Supra will be sponsored by SEIBON Carbon to help the Supra achieve some serious weight loss.

Team SATS Motorsport ends the 2011 season by celebrating a 2nd place finish at the Super Pro Championship. And although the team is happy with these results, modifications will have to be done if they want to take 1st place next season.

In the next few weeks, the Supra will undergo a complete rebuild to make it into the most competitive vehicle ever seen. SEIBON Carbon will be sponsoring the team with carbon fiber doors, a hood, and a rear hatch. Team manager, Chris Arthur, knows that the key element of a successful rebuild was to do an “entire strip down of the car to lose as much unnecessary weight as possible.”

Shedding weight will be the team’s best opportunity of taking 1^st at the Pro Championship and regaining the title of European Drift Champions. Be sure to keep your eyes on this car. It will be one of the most talked about in 2012.

The Supra will be debuting its new design at the Autosport International show in Birmingham, UK in January 2012.
